Some people got burnt their face, hand-feet or whole body. It seems like the whole country has become the Burn unit.
Tomato farmer Yusuf Ali of Godagari Mohishal Bari of Rajshahi expected for a good profit from farming tomato. But the hope has become despair. He informed that, ‘minimum 2000Kgs of ripe tomato is rotting in his house. But there is no buyer. Who will buy? They have to send these to market. Vehicles were being affected most by the violence of the political agenda. Innocent common people are being killed brutally. Assets of thousands of career take are burnt. In some cases, drivers, passengers, and transport workers are burnt by petrol bombs. Thousands of vehicles are the victims of so-called political revenge. In last 25 months, 324 passengers across the country were killed in political violence. And four lakh 42 thousand 865 people were injured, including children and women.
This information came in a monitoring report entitled ‘Public transport, politics and violence with passenger’s report – 2015’ Bangladesh Passengers Welfare Association publish that on the last Wednesday at Press Club. Secretary General Mozammel Hoque Chowdhury read the report in the function presided by the Chairman of the organization Sharif Rafikujjaman. It is seen in the report that, 222 passengers and 73 drivers and transport workers were killed by petrol bomb in the political violence from January of 2013 to the 10th National election on 5th January 2014. By this time 26 thousand 374 vehicles were vandalized, one thousand 162 vehicles were slightly burnt, and 781 vehicles were fully burnt. Besides fishplate of the rail line were opened 21 times and 3 attempted times to sabotage in a waterway. In this violence 3 lakh 73 thousand and 425 passengers were killed. Authorities ordered to stop Internet Telephone Service Viber and Tango in Bangladesh. The Bangladesh Telecom Regulatory Commission (BTRC) issued the order to the mobile phone operators.
There they have been ordered to keep Viber and Tango stop from Sunday midnight till Sunday 6pm.
Grameen Phone said in a statement on their website that, they received instruction from Telephone Regulatory Commission at twelve o’clock night. There they said to stop Viber and Tango for security reasons. Continue reading

Pakistani Acting High Commissioner Ahmed Hossain Jayo was summoned to the foreign ministry in response to criticizing the execution of Motiur Rahman Nizami, the Chief of Jamaat-e-islami Bangladesh.
Recently Pakistani Home Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan gave a statement criticizing the execution of Nizami. Additional Secretary of foreign ministry Mizanur Rahman called the acting Pakistani high commissioner Ahmed Hossain Jayo on Thursday to show protest officially.
Mijanur Rahman said to the Pak High commissioner showing the position of the country that, “Pakistan shouldn’t say something regarding internal matters of Bangladesh. These cases of 71’s war crimes are running, maintaining international standards. Bangladesh hopes that, Pakistan will never repeat such behavior like this.” Continue reading
