The solar-powered ambulance for rural areas!

Suitable for operation in remote areas of Bangladesh, the researchers are working on developing a special ambulance. The solar-powered three-wheedlers and fit for the narrow streets of the ambulance van could get off the streets this year.

Although built on a three-wheel van, the materials will be required in an ambulance in order to protect life. However, it will be entirely solar. Even at night, will provide the necessary energy to run a battery, solar energy, which will be charged during the day by solar energy. As a result, the ambulance can be used in areas with no electricity. After all various types of roads like Pitch pour roads or country roads or streets - everywhere fit for the ambulance.

A Bangladeshi university, public institutions, and coordinated efforts are being made the especially the ambulance by local car manufacturers company. A sample has been tested already. It is expected that by the end of this year will go down in the street. Head of the project, BRAC University Professor AKM Abdul Malek Azad said, ‘‘for low-cost clinics in remote areas of the ambulance, I think you may be a better way. Moreover, through the use of solar energy, we can save the environment and reduce the cost of electricity daily."

Each solar-powered ambulance building cost will be the US $ 1,900 from 2500. Where conventional ambulances price is $ 30,000. Azad said, is there available such type of ambulance in any country in the world; it is unknown to him. But the solar-powered car race organized in Australia, this idea is taken from there.

In fact, the remote area's patients of Bangladesh are transported by Ricksha & Van. That unhealthy way a lot of patients died before reaching the hospital. This new Ambulance Van could play a vital role in life-saving.  One Ambulance can transport three people at a time. Which can be driven by the maximum speed 15-20 kilometers per hour?
