
The Voice of Russia is the Russian government's international radio broadcasting service. When it started on 29 October 1929 (as Radio Moscow), it became the first radio station to broadcast internationally. It broadcasts on short and medium waves, in the FM band, via satellite, internet and through global mobile communications network. The Voice of Russia provides a convenient and democratic channel to obtain information about Russia.
