It has been claimed that Chinese's aircraft found a suspicious object in the south of the Indian Ocean. China satellites were searching for the missing Malaysian Airlines MH 370 in that area. Several countries have joined this search campaign. The official Xinhua news agency has said this today, Monday.
Xinhua reports, the participants of this expedition have found relatively large objects. Australia has already informed this matter. 10 aircraft have already started their expedition to rescue these suspicious objects in the Indian Ocean.
From the very beginning, six aircraft of the United States and Australia had been working in the expedition, in the Indian Ocean. China with its two military aircraft and Japan with their two aircraft have joined them on Monday. A navy ship of Australia and some ships of China are working on the operation running in the southern Indian Ocean covering an area of 68 thousand 5 hundred square kilometers.
After seeing suspicious objects, China's aircrews informed it to the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA). AMSA is coordinating the whole operation work.
In a statement, AMSA said that they were adding efforts to recover those suspicious objects. However, it has been alerted that bad weather can hamper rescue efforts.
In a search of the missing aircraft for three weeks, the search mission is going on by dividing the area into two parts, North West and South West. Straight from Malacca to north-west, hence there is no news available from there. From the south-west part, the news of suspicious objects has been identified several times. So the rescue mission has been enforced over that region.
