Toufique Imrose Khalidi is widely known for his persistence in investigating only Bangladeshi Nobel Prize winner Dr. Muhammed Yunus, which ultimately lead to the dismissal of Yunus from his position at The Grameen Bank by Government of Bangladesh in 2011.

As an online-only news portal, it ranked number one and as a news service, it ranks number two (Just behind The Daily Prothom Alo's Online Edition) in Bangladesh, as listed by Alexa.
