BBC Bangla Radio

The BBC World Service is the world's largest international broadcaster of news in 28 different languages, including BBC Bangla, which broadcasts in Bengali. The BBC first broadcast in Bengali on 11 October 1941. In the beginning, the BBC broadcast only 15 minutes in Bengali. BBC Bangla gained huge popularity during Bangladesh's liberation war because it broadcasted true and unbiased reports of the war.

BBC Bangla's programs are broadcast from the BBC Headquarters in New Broadcasting House, London, to many parts of the world on analog and digital shortwave platforms, internet streaming, podcasting, satellite, FM, and MW relays. BBC Bangla is currently funded by grant-in-aid through the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the British Government.

BBC Bangla Broadcasts program in Bengali four times a day. Those programs are

BBC Bangla's daily program includes news and discussion of current affairs, which features the latest world news, reports, interviews, news analysis, and sports news. Protusha features an analysis of Bangladesh Newspaper reports. BBC Bangla also broadcasts weekly programs, which are-
