Military of Egypt Want Sisi as the Candidate for President

Egypt's Chief Military Council said in a statement that the army chief and the defense minister Abdel Fattah el-Sisi should stand as the President candidate.

It is said in the statement that Field Marshal el-Sisi thanked the military leaders for helping him in his duty. Soon he will announce his candidacy.

Correspondents are expecting that Field Marshal Sisi will easily win the presidential election. Recently, he was promoted to Field Marshal, who is the highest position of Army. Field Marshal el-Sisi is still unclear about his taking part in the election.

However, military sources are saying that one day he will resign and announced himself as a candidate. In coming mid-April, there is going to be a new election in the country. El-Sisi has no experience in war, but he has already proven to be a veteran politician.

Last July he led the coup that overthrew Mohammad Morsi; it gets widespread popularity, and for many Egyptians, el-Sisi is a hero. Supporters think that el-Sisi has the ability to resolve the unrest in Egypt, which has lasted for a long time.

However, El Sisi also has opposition parties feel that he is a military ruler who has already contributed to introduce dictatorship in Egypt.
