The Daily Janakantha is a daily newspaper published in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is owned by Globe Janakantha Shilpa Paribar (GJSP). This newspaper was first published on 21 February 1993. From the very beginning, it emerges as a leading national daily in the country. Within a short time, the newspaper climbed the apex in circulation. The primary reason for its higher circulation is that it is the only daily newspaper in the country. It is concurrently printed and published from 5 different areas via a microwave system with its set-up of local press and offices. It is distributed early in the morning all over Bangladesh. That is why it is the only newspaper in Bangladesh that you can get in the early morning from most areas of Bangladesh. Mohammed Atikullah Khan Masud is its editor and publisher. This daily is a pro Awami League-minded.
