The Daily Janakantha is a daily newspaper published from Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is owned by Globe Janakantha Shilpa Paribar (GJSP). This newspaper was first published on 21 February 1993. From the very beginning, it emerges as a leading national daily in the country. Within a short time the newspaper has climbed the apex in the circulations. The major reason of its higher circulation is that it is the only daily newspaper in the country, which is concurrently printed and published from 5 different areas via microwave system with its own set-up of local press and offices and distributed early in the morning all over Bangladesh. That is why; it is the only newspaper in Bangladesh, which you can get in the early morning from most areas of Bangladesh. Mohammed Atikullah Khan Masud is its editor and publisher. This daily is a pro Awami League minded.
